We are glad to present a new comprehensive program for visiting the Lakhta Center. You will experience two exciting events, have twice more time to spend in the Lakhta Center, gain new impressions and new knowledge, and enjoy a new view of the city you know.
The first part of the program is a tour of the Lakhta Center observation deck. The tour is a unique opportunity to learn more about the complex which is globally recognized for its outstanding architecture, environmental sustainability and engineering solutions. Our guides will take you through the route where everyone will find something to his or her heart: from stories about the Lakhta Center’s construction period to photo-ready interiors and an elevator ride to Europe’s highest observation deck. You will also learn many interesting and surprising facts about the history of the country, the city and the place, gain a deep insight into history and catch a glimpse of the future.
In the second part of the tour, you will be able to have an exciting panoramic view of the Lakhta Center Atrium that opens from the connecting bridge soaring at a height of a four-storey building, check out the gift shop and take photos with the futuristic Planetarium sphere in the background. And not just take photos, but to go inside, as it is the Lakhta Center Planetarium where the City P installation art exhibition starts with the introductory film.
The exhibition is devoted to the exciting and multi-layered theme of the St. Petersburg art mythology. The letter π in the exhibition’s name is a reference to the initial of Petersburg, while the number π symbolizes infinity, uniqueness and transformations, i.e. everything that perfectly describes the city spirit.

The project is a unique blend of works by recognized contemporary Russian artists, graphic artists, photographers, and street artists who create the multifaceted appearance of the great city. For a deeper understanding of their art, each visitor is welcome to use the audio guide created on the basis of a curator’s tour.
