Lakhta Center is a multifunctional complex in St. Petersburg with the Gazprom headquarter and public spaces occupying a third of the area. Construction was completed in October 2018, now start work on the arrangement of business and public areas. The opening will take place in about a year, when the complex will be fully prepared to meet guests. »

The public hearings on the issue of the deviation from the limit height parameters of the project of a public and business district Lakhta center were held in Petersburg on Friday.

17.06.2011, Delovoy Petersburg

President of the Russian federation approved the construction of a business center at a new location by commenting that he had always liked the project, the only thing was the location. Alexey Miller said that the site in Lakhta where a business center will be built had already been purchased from the city.

Up to Lakhta where Gazprom public and business center will be built a tramline is planned to be built from Primorskaya metro station through Krestovsky island.


Metro builders plan that in the area of Lakhta where the Gazprom headquarters are planned to be built, a metro station will appear.


As requested by Social and Business Center Okhta CJSC the North-Western Regional Authority of Rosgidromet (GU Saint Petersburg TsGMS-R) conducted an assessment of an ecologic situation in Lakhta at the site of the future construction of a Gazprom neft headquarters.

A new proposed location of Okhta Center in Saint Petersburg is an isthmus of Lakhta lake which is as opposed to Okhta promontory is located much further form the protected panoramas of the historic center.
