Lakhta Center is a multifunctional complex in St. Petersburg with the Gazprom headquarter and public spaces occupying a third of the area. Construction was completed in October 2018, now start work on the arrangement of business and public areas. On October 16, 2018 Lakhta Center MFC JSC received authorization for commissioning of the facility. The relevant document was officially published by the State Construction Supervision and Inspection Service of Saint Petersburg, Russia.

The RMJM-designed Lakhta Centre in St Petersburg is Russia and Europe's tallest building – standing 462 metres high. The twisted supertall skyscraper, which finished construction in June 2018, is the 13th tallest building in the world. Its 87 floors are currently being fitted out. Developers Gazprom, a Russian gas company that will occupy most of the building, also claim it to be the "northernmost skyscraper in the world".

The installation of the spire of the Lakhta Center Multifunctional Complex under construction in Saint Petersburg, which will house the headquarters of Gazprom Group, has been completed. Air lights were lighted up at the top of the skyscraper. Thus, the main building of the Complex reached its final height of 462 metres. The construction of the above-ground part of the skyscraper took two and a half years.
