Lakhta Center: Infrastructure at the Investor’s Expense
According to a serviceman, the priority directions for the city are the development of a street and road network in the area of Kolpino and Primorsky district as well as the creation of a transport bypass of the center.
Dmitry Burenin emphasized that the development of a road network in Primorsky district is not connected with the construction of Lakhta Center. The roads in the northern direction will be built due to the fact that there is a connection to a few highways, in particular, to the northern section of the Western Speed Diameter.
GosExpertisa issued a positive statement in relation to the engineering utilities of Lakhta Center Mixed-use Complex. The rehabilitation and the construction of the new heating, water supply, communication and power supply utilities will be done at the Lakhta Center Project Investor’s expense. The new engineering infrastructure will help resolve an issue of the connection of the complex to the engineering utilities as well as create additional capabilities to cover the needs of Lakhta and Olgino village in Primorsky district. The capacity of the power substation will be used for Lakhta Center less than at half and Lakhta and Olgino villages will be able to connect to the sewage collector.
