Lakhta Center is a multifunctional complex in St. Petersburg with the Gazprom headquarter and public spaces occupying a third of the area. Construction was completed in October 2018, now start work on the arrangement of business and public areas. The opening will take place in about a year, when the complex will be fully prepared to meet guests.
Saint Petersburg Skyscraper Lit Up With Blue Lights in Honour of FC Zenit

Today, Lakhta Center Tower will light up in the signature blue and white colours of the club to celebrate the victory of the blue-white-sky blues! Zenit is the champion! Hooray! – says the Instagram post of Lakhta Center.
As you may recall, this Saturday, Sergei Semak’s team and Akhmat drew a tie (1:1), thus Zenit continues to lead the standings with 58 points. In another game of the 27th tour, Lokomotiv, which was in second place, lost an away match to Arsenal (0:2) with 49 points, and with it – its chance to beat the blue-white-sky blues.
This victory in the Russian Premier League has become the fifth for the club, and the first one for Semak as a coach. It will allow Zenit to take part in the group stage of the 2019-20 Champions League.
The last time Zenit won the Russian Cup was in 2015, with André Villas-Boas as manager.
